Took me about ten seconds to figure out the clip-to-ring setup, and now my pup stays put on every drive. The carabiner feels solid enough that I don't worry about it popping loose on sharp turns, which was my main fear with a backseat rider.
The carabiner clicks into the IDC Powerharness ring in seconds, and the strap’s length is just right for letting my dog sit or lie down without tangling. It’s sturdy enough for his pulls when he spots a squirrel, so I no longer worry about him lunging mid-drive.
My dog used to wander all over the back seat on drives, but now with this simple tether clipped to his harness ring, he stays put without any fuss. The carabiner feels solid and the strap has just enough give so he can still sit or lie down comfortably. Takes about ten seconds to hook up each trip.
